WORK WITH ME

Here's how working together actually works.

I wrote a whole newsletter about how buyers want to understand how buying works before they talk to anyone. So here's mine: the options, how agreements are structured, and what to expect. The only thing missing is the rate, and you can ask me for that anytime.

ENGAGEMENT OPTIONS

Three ways to work together. Pick the one that fits your stage.

PINNED NOTE These options come from my experience with early-stage founders and what they're usually ready to commit. I often work more hours per week, but those agreements are bespoke, longer-term commitments, and subject to my availability.
MOST TEAMS START HERE
RETAINER · 10 HOURS / WEEK

Embedded

Enough bandwidth to build momentum. I direct the strategy and how we work, and I do a lot of the work myself.

BEST FOREarly-stage teams building their go-to-market foundation, or heading into a launch.
WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE
Weekly working session with your team
In your Slack and your tools
Strategy, campaigns, and systems built and run
Monthly reporting and planning
RETAINER · 5 HOURS / WEEK

Flex

A senior extra set of hands, strategic direction, or both. Five focused hours a week, pointed wherever you need them most.

BEST FORTeams that need ongoing execution help, steady maintenance, or a senior lead to steer once the foundation is in place.
WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE
Hands-on execution: campaigns, content, HubSpot
Strategic direction and review where it helps
Regular check-ins and priority setting
Monthly reporting and planning
DEFINED SCOPE · SET TIMELINE

Project

A specific deliverable with a clear start and finish.

BEST FORA positioning and messaging sprint, a website, a launch, or a HubSpot implementation.
WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE
Scope and deliverables agreed up front
Fixed timeline
Working sessions at key milestones
Handoff so your team can run it

Every retainer includes strategy, planning, execution, and reporting. The difference between them is how many hours I have each week and how involved I am in directing the work.

HOW AGREEMENTS WORK

Simple terms, built to flex.

The focus is driving value. If it's not working out for either of us, it's an easy out. No long contracts and no surprise invoices.

1
Monthly retainerA dedicated number of hours each week, billed monthly. Projects are scoped and quoted separately.
2
3-month minimumEnough time to build the foundation and get real results to read. After that, it's month to month.
3
Scale up or downHours can grow as we get closer to go-to-market or scale initiatives, and pull back when things are running.
4
Strategy and execution includedEvery retainer covers strategy, planning, execution, and reporting. You never pay extra for the doing.
5
Media and tools stay separateAd spend and software are set aside separately from my engagement, so you always see exactly where that money goes.
WHAT SHAPES THE INVESTMENT

No price list. Here's what moves the number.

Hours per weekThe biggest factor. More hours means more of the work happens with me, not just through me.
ScopeHow many channels, audiences, and launches we run at once.
How hands-on I amLeading and doing the work, versus guiding a team that does it.
TimelineA launch date or funding milestone can mean more hours up front.

FAQ

The things you might feel awkward asking on a call, but should anyway.

Honestly, because my rates change. Like my clients, I'm always testing and experimenting, and that includes how I price. My focus is on value, not hours: each retainer is a set monthly cost, based on an average hourly rate and the amount of work that typically gets done in that time. Ask and I'll send current rates for the option that fits you.
